Online training (ES): Brine recovery and circular economy

Online training (ES): Brine recovery and circular economy 1600 900 ZERO BRINE

 30 June 2021 – 9:00 AM CET
Online Event – Livestream

Europe is trying to move towards a circular economy, and circular business models where high-quality resources are recovered and reused from process water, offer a solution. As an emerging market, reclaimed minerals are interesting for industries that want to reduce their costs and work more sustainably.

For this purpose, an online training session has been organised by EURECAT, FACSA, IQE and TYPSA on 30 June 2021.

This training will be held for company personnel looking to build symbiotic brine relationships and circular business opportunities. In addition, the online platform designed in the project to put in contact brine producers, technology providers and end-users of the recovered products will be presented.

*Please note that this event will be held in Spanish

ZERO BRINE. Recuperación de salmueras y economía circular

ZERO BRINE. Recuperación de salmueras y economía circular 1600 900 ZERO BRINE

 30 Junio 2021 – 9:00 AM CEST

Online Training (PL): Industrial Saline Wastewaters as a Feedstock

Online Training (PL): Industrial Saline Wastewaters as a Feedstock 2048 1152 ZERO BRINE

 31 May 2021 – 9:00 AM CET
Online Event – Livestream

As part of EU Green Week, the Silesian University of Technology is hosting an online training focusing on how we can reduce the environmental impacts of industrial saline wastewaters.

Saline industrial wastewaters create both economic and environmental challenges. Yet these wastewaters are also rich in minerals, and thus can also be a feedstock. During the workshop we will discuss the opportunities created by processing these industrial saline wastewaters, in particular the brines from coal mine dewatering.

The aim is to bring together brine owners (coal mining industry) and industries interested in finding new sources of minerals such as salt, demineralized water, and magnesium, together with technology providers and policy-makers.

Agenda

9:00 – 9:15 Welcome and introduction
9:15 – 9:45 The issue of coal mine waste waters
9:45 – 10:15 Presentation of ZERO BRINE results
10:15 – 10:30 Coffee break
10:30 – 11:15 Online Brine Platform
11:15 – 11:30 Final words

Zasolone ścieki przemysłowe jako źródło surowców

Zasolone ścieki przemysłowe jako źródło surowców 2048 1152 ZERO BRINE

     31 Maja 2021
    Warsztaty online

W ramach Europejskiego Zielonego Tygodnia organizujemy szkolenie warsztaty na temat możliwości ograniczenia wpływu zasolonych ścieków przemysłowych na środowisko.

Odprowadzanie zasolonych ścieków przemysłowych generuje koszty i powoduje problemy środowiskowe.

    Program

    9:00 – 9:15 Powitanie i wstęp
    9:15 – 9:45 Problematyka solanek kopalnianych
9:45 – 10:15 Prezentacja wyników projektu ZERO BRINE
    10:15 – 10:30 Przerwa na kawę
    10:30 – 11:15 Online Brine Platform

Online Training (TR) for public institutions and companies

Online Training (TR) for public institutions and companies 1600 900 ZERO BRINE

       21-22 April 2021
      Online Event – Livestream

In this online training, presented by TUBITAK,  public institutions, cluster authorities and companies will discover the lessons learned based on the application of the ZERO BRINE project in four countries, and how to use the Online Brine Platform to improve circularity and reduce wastewater disposal. By joining our online training we will also outline how water and salt recovery can be achieved for sustainable production, and what possible synergies can be made via the Online Brine Platform to improve circularity will be appraised.

The ZERO BRINE project develops advanced opportunities that will allow the implementation of concepts such as technical solutions and industrial symbiosis for resources that can contribute to the circular economy, taking into account environmental, economic and social benefits. For cluster authorities, understanding water-related risks and how recovery and reuse of wastewater can improve the organisational and international competitiveness of Turkey are crucial. Circular business models where high-quality resources recovered and reused from process water, offer solutions.

21 April – Training for public institutions and cluster authorities
22 April – Training for companies
